You Can Relax

Encounter Kids is led by certified professionals who are gifted and skilled in the area of childhood development and education.

General Health

Please bring your child to Encounter Kids only when they are well. A child should not be brought to church if they have vomited, had diarrhea, or had a fever in the past 24 hours. Heavy nasal discharge, a constant cough, a rash, or a sore throat are also reasons to keep your child at home.

Please label everything that belongs to your child.

All linens, toys, and equipment will be disinfected on a regular basis.

All workers will follow the current KY state child care guidelines for proper diaper changing.

Food Allergies

Since food allergies can be life threatening, snacks or food activities may not be planned for our older children. Please notify your child’s teacher of any food allergies.

Encounter Kids

Encounter Church wants to partner with you in the spiritual formation of your child. We aim to have activities that will assist your child as they explore, experience, and encounter Jesus and His love for them. Each week we plan fun crafts, drama, sensory teaching, music, Bible reading, and games to make the time memorable, meaningful, and full of learning for your child.
 
Childcare and classes are available for all ages ranging from infant to sixth grade.
 

Coming & Going

Children may arrive in their classroom 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the Worship Gathering. Please make an effort to pick up your child promptly after the gathering concludes.

Your Child’s Safety

Parents will be asked to fill out a registration card for each one of their children.

Security tags will be used to give your child a number. One will security tag will stay with you and one will go to your child. The same number will be placed on any diaper bags (infants only). When picking up your child, you will be asked to present your security tag with the correct number. No one will be able to pick up a child unless their name is listed on the registration form as an authorized pick-up person.
